What to expect this week | Travel & Fitness |


Things are starting to warm up in the sleepy suburbs of Chicago and I am so excited for spring. I have this week off work and I have a lot planned!

This weeks traveling:

I have a travel bucket list and I will be starting it full swing this week. I plan to travel to all 50 states, by travel I mean spend at least 1 month in each state, submerging myself in everything the states have to offer, from the biggest tourist spots to the smallest trails and sweet spots.

The first state I am starting with is of course my home state, Illinois. How often do you act like a tourist in your own home town? How often do you take the time to vacation in your own state? Every state has something beautiful to offer and I plan to discover it all!

This week I will be discovering the Volo Auto Museum and the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe. I just bought my first nice camera and I plan on documenting the whole week. I’ll be posting a blog about my discoveries and posting photos on my Instagram – MarieBakerBlog.

This week I will also begin working out 5 times a week, I will share my daily workouts and some motivation on my fitness Instagram — MarieBakerFit. I am pondering the idea of doing a 5k and showcasing my training as well, so follow along for more details on that!
